No More Pitta

Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh confirmed that fact Sunday, telling reporters “there’s no way” the tight end can play in 2013 after he fractured and dislocated his hip. NFL.com’s Albert Breer reported Saturday, via a source informed of the injury, that Pitta was done for the season.

Harbaugh also said Sunday that placing Pitta on injured reserve with a designated-to-return tag isn’t possible because there’s too much damage in the hip, according to The Baltimore Sun.

Fantasy Football Take

One less high power tight end for the 2013 season. The question is does this upgrade Ed Dickson TE or the WR core for the Ravens. I would put more focus on Torrey Smith.
